    The objective of the forestry project “Productive forestry systems on degraded grasslands in Colombia” is to establish 4,123.5 hectares of Hevea brasiliensis (rubber) in pastures of the municipality of Puerto López (department of Meta) that are currently used for cattle ranching. This initiative seeks to participate in the market for carbon credits as an economic alternative that propels competitiveness and development in the region’s forest sector.
