    The project is part of the Million Tree Project (MTP) implemented by Shanghai Roots & Shoots in Inner Mongolia of China. The planting and maintenance work will be implemented by the local villagers under the supervision of Shanghai Roots & Shoots. Hybrid poplars are the major tree species to be planted. In hilly and sandy areas, bushes and other vegetations and methods, such as grass sand blocks, will also be considered and implemented.
