- Project descriptionThis is a pilot project under Fiji's national REDD+ strategy. A number of consultations have already been undertaken to establish local awareness and consent to the REDD+ project. A carbon inventory has been carried out and landowners have received training in forest and carbon inventory techniques. Planned activities include the carrying out of socio-economic-, biodiversity-, cultural-, and land use–surveys.
