    The Community-Based Production Forestry project (CBPF) consists of two main areas of activities: - A Core Protection Forest where a REDD+ project will be implemented, where deforestation is 100% prohibited, and Buffer Protection Forest areas, where suitable development activities can occur and timber will be harvested in a sustainable way. - A Community-Based Forest Enterprise (CBFE) project. Here timber harvesting rights will be assigned to Community-based Forest Enterprises (CFEs) set up at the commune level and timber products will be sold on the domestic market.
