  • Project description
Our project focuses on pro poor emission reduction. The project rehabilitates degraded land to become mixed food forest, using assisted natural regeneration (ANR). Promoting the growth of existing indigenous trees through ANR provides the right climate for other species, to be intercropped after two years. These include indigenous species combined with clove trees, cocoa, mahogany, kemiri, jengkol, and various fruit trees. All trees planted have been selected by the farmers themselves in close consultation with the provincial forestry office and Department of Agriculture.
