    The Luangwa Community Forests Project is a large scale grouped REDD+ project. The project will generate emissions reductions through avoided deforestation, using the following mitigation activities: Direct conservation support, Engagement and capacity building with key Government and community stakeholders, Performance-based payments to community stakeholders delivered through local institutions, Promoting alternative livelihood activities including: conservation agriculture, non-timber forest product livelihoods, and sustainable enterprise development.
