- Project descriptionThe project aims to restore degraded thicket in the Addo Elephant NP and the Baviaanskloof Nature Reserve, planting P. afra cuttings (known locally as spekboom). Restoration of the area will improve ecosystem function in the project areas. Activities to be undertaken in the proposed ARR project include: selection of planting sites; appointment of contractors; harvesting; planting; long term monitoring and management of the plantings
