- Project descriptionThe aim of the project is to reduce deforestation and degradation on Malgash forests by accompying local populations in the conservation of forests and in the valorization of natural resources, and in the development and adoption of alternatives to slash and burn activities. New protected areas were created and 110 management transfer contract to communities (through COBAs). Restoration of 23 000 ha of degraded forests. Reforestation of 2 276ha for energy-wood.
