- Project descriptionThe main objective of the Project is to maintain a forested landscape to support improved livelihoods of local forest-dependent communities and thereby ensure the delivery of environmental services in a wider context. Deforestation is being reduced by establishing village level Participatory Forest Management (PFM) Associations as legal entities. The PFM Associations are developing forest management plans for sustainable Non-Timber Forest Products harvesting.
