- Project descriptionThe overall goal of the project is to enable communities living adjacent to high bio-diversity value forests the ability to benefit from global approaches to climate change mitigation, including REDD+. The purpose of the project is to build awareness and enhance capacity and governance mechanisms for local communities and government institutions to administer and benefit from REDD+ related obligations and opportunities in the Masito Ugalla Ecosystem (MUE) in support of national REDD+ readiness.
