  Some outcomes of the project include: - Supply of seedlings, training, technical supervision for 3300 households for shade cocoa production and agroforestry; - organizational support (census, needs assessment, formation of groups, training, etc.) to local farmers, to enable them to subsequently organize into cooperatives; - Diversification and improvement of agriculture; - Training to loggers for sustainable resources management; - Rehabilitation of forest administration capacity. teledetection analysis to identify driver of deforestation and provide updated figure on deforestation rates; quantify carbon in the forest of Ituri; provide data and field experiment to inform the DRC National REDD+ Strategy.
