  The proposed project activity consists of the reforestation for commercial purposes (local and international markets) of 2,754 hectares with teak (Tectona grandis) plantations in extensively managed or unmanaged lands. This will bring changes in the land-use pattern of the region from extensive unmanaged cattle raising and an expanding agricultural boundary to other land-use activities, while generating carbon credits from the reduction of GHG emissions.
