  The Project establishes a reforestation of native and non-native tree species in the municipality of Barbosa-Antioquia. The species were selected taking into account their adaptability, ecologic characteristics, and their economic importance for the region. The project consists in the reforestation of 76,9 ha covered mainly by Pinus oocarpa and, Pinus maximinioi, Eucalytus grandis and by the native species Guadua angustifolia. The Project assures conservation of the remaining natural vegetation which is product of the natural assisted regeneration processes implemented 40 years ago by the project owner. 37 different species were identified within the natural areas presented inside the project area.
