Project description
The project was an initiative of The Nature Conservancy, Fundación Moisés Bertoni (FMP) and other funders to protect the forest through the establishment of the Mbaracayú Forest Nature Reserve and the surrounding buffer zone. The project generates carbon offsetts for AEP (principal funder), and provides various benefits to the indigenous Ache people.
